Job Description

DPI is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Accountants for our customers. We have openings for entry to mid-level positions. Ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e., GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to financial management, budget, and accounting.
  • Reconcile bank statements by comparing statements with the general ledger.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; OR Bachelor’s degree in any field plus 30 quarter (20 semester) credit hours in accounting; OR 30 quarter (20 semester) credit hours in accounting and two years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Internship or previous experience in a similar role.
