Job Description
This is a leadership role with an elevated level of responsibility. The Weekend Supervisor oversees the entire operation on weekends and reports to the Operations Manager. They have oversight of approximately 10 valets at one time, making sure they are providing excellent customer service to every patient or guest entering the valet drive.
This role includes monitoring 2 separate entrances on one campus. One entrance is open 8am-10pm and the other is open 24hrs.
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 10am-10pm (3 X 12hr shifts)
+ On-call Friday, Saturday, Sunday when not on site
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise valet attendants in their daily duties of parking, retrieving, and delivering cars to guests.
- Train and coach valet attendants, including corrective action when necessary, ensuring that team members meet the required standards of customer service and safety.
- Monitor valet operations and ensure that all Ellis Parking procedures are followed correctly.
- Communicate issues and concerns to the Operations Manager.
- Handle any customer complaints or feedback and resolve issues to customer satisfaction. Escalate to the Operations Manager as necessary.
- Review, evaluate and report on the valet team's performance, providing recommendations for improvements in quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of leadership experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams of 5+ people.
- Possess excellent customer service skills and able to handle difficult customer situations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's licens e.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
