Job Description
Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Oversee and manage all, day-to-day driver and service-related activities and functions for assigned geographical /terminal driver locations including but not limited to, daily planning, and dispatch and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring that all orders are dispatched and requested delivery windows are met
- Manager the day-to-day issues, regarding service, equipment management (in conjunction with Region Manager), driver-related issues, and service deviations
- Works with Central Planning Operations Manager/Senior Fleet Manager to analyze and provide solutions for chronic problems within operation, including performance to customer expectations, efficiency concerns, and driver performance
- Able to navigate Solar’s TMW dispatching software as well as multiple screens to utilize Email, customer websites, and dispatching software
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift including weekends
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Qualifications: Experience - 1+ yrs. experience in a Fleet Manager position at a logistics company preferred
- Experience in the transportation industry preferred
- Previous managerial experience preferred
Qualifications: Competencies - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
- Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
- A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
- Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: 50K - 62K/yearly
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik/Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
