Job Title: Dental Front Desk Receptionist

Location: Namou Dental Care – Clinton Township, MI

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Answering Phones: Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and providing necessary reminders.
• Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, obtain necessary pre-authorizations, and communicate insurance details to patients.
• Patient Check-In/Out: Greet and check in patients, confirm personal information, collect payments, and provide receipts.
• Additional Duties: Provide support to the dental team as needed, including handling patient inquiries and following up on treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Dentrix Required: Strong experience with Dentrix software is a must. Experience with Dentrix Ascend is preferred but not required. We are transitioning to Ascend.
• Dental Office Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly, empathetic manner.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with dental insurance policies and procedures is a plus.
• Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using office software and dental management systems.
