Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and assisting with medical examinations.
  • Draw up injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist with minor surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
  • Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle medical administrative tasks.
  • Travel to Edison office Twice a week. Must have reliable transportation.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patients' conditions.
  • Proficient in taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately.
  • Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols for patient care.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification to respond to medical emergencies.
  • Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes.
  • Excellent patient service skills to provide compassionate care and support.
  • Ability to provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
