Job Responsibilities:  

•   Install, terminate, test, and certify Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling systems.
• Perform cable routing, pulling, and dressing in commercial and industrial environments.
• Identify and troubleshoot network cabling issues, ensuring proper connectivity and performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Mount, install, and maintain cable trays, racks, and conduit pathways.
• Conduct quality assurance tests and document results.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure optimal system performance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized and professional manner.

Requirements:  

• Proven experience as a Cabling Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables.
• Understanding of structured cabling standards, including TIA/EIA guidelines.
• Ability to use cable testing equipment such as Fluke testers.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure components, including patch panels, switches, and routers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift heavy equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
