Job Description

Exciting opportunity alert! Our dynamic and rapidly expanding custom cabinet and millwork company, Signature Woodworking , with over 26 years of excellence, is looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a cabinet maker. We craft custom commercial cabinets for various settings, including office buildings, clinics, and restaurants. Don't worry if you're new to cabinetry; if you are interested in learning, we offer comprehensive training to get you up to speed.


Position: Cabinet Maker
Compensation: $22.50 to $28.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time


We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. This individual will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and a keen eye for detail. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in cabinet assembly, laminating, CNC operation, and hardware installation. 
  • Skilled in using various tools, including table saws, routers, shapers, edge banders, CNC, sanders, joiners, etc., and various hand tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and materials required for each project.
  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to understand client needs and adjust projects accordingly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Continuously update skills and knowledge in cabinetry and woodworking techniques.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker with a minimum of 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  • Strong understanding of materials properties and cabinetry construction techniques.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision.
  • Good physical condition and stamina, capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • We have no education requirement, but additional certification in carpentry or woodworking is a plus.
