Position Summary
As a Dispensing Audiologist at HearBest, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hearing healthcare to our guests while also contributing to our business growth. This position requires a unique blend of clinical expertise, guest-centered care, and the ability to confidently counsel guests on hearing solutions. You'll have the opportunity to significantly improve people's quality of life while also meeting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations efficiently and precisely
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and guest needs
• Confidently counsel guests on appropriate hearing aid technologies and solutions
• Recommend and fit hearing aids, ensuring optimal outcomes and guest satisfaction
• Achieve or exceed targets for changing lives and making a community impact
• Provide education on hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing aid care
• Collaborate with our Guest Relations Team to ensure an excellent guest experience
• Participate in community outreach to raise awareness about hearing health
• Contribute to the development of best practices in audiology care across HearBest locations
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements
What We're Looking For
• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited university
• Current state licensure in audiology, or eligibility for timely licensure
• Strong clinical skills in diagnostic audiology and expertise in hearing aid fitting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and persuasively
• Confidence in counseling guests on hearing solutions and their benefits
• Commitment to providing exceptional guest care while also meeting business objectives
• Adaptability to evolving hearing care technologies and treatment methodologies
• Ability to understand and discuss audiological and business-related data for the purpose of continuous improvement and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Team player who can work independently and contribute to a collaborative environment
