We are currently seeking exceptional individuals for our Aircraft IFE Technician team in Baltimore, MD!
The Aircraft IFE Technician will be using electrical and mechanical skills to perform maintenance on various aircraft inside and outside of the cabin. Responsibilities will include maintenance and troubleshooting of In-Flight Entertainment/Connectivity systems as assigned by local management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform built-in test (BIT) and manual test of IFE systems.
- Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling or seat consoles in which failures occur down to the line replaceable modules, using knowledge of electronic theory.
- Identify necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance, which may require the removal and replacement of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling.
- Perform maintenance checks on Customer aircraft.
- Operate a vehicle on airport property and around aircraft.
- Operate airline communications equipment.
- Communicate and interface with customer.
- Document the testing and repairs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
Requirements:
- Must have a diploma or GED .
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be open to variable shifts.
- Must have 1 + years of IFE, electrical or avionics experience.
- Must haveGeneral knowledge of fundamental electrical mechanics or related experience acquired through commercial aviation, military experience or technical school education
- Must have the ability to climb and work from ladder or platform, and endure sitting, standing, bending or twisting for extended periods.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate under extreme weather conditions and in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Must be able to read, comprehend and follow instructions, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, manuals and to comprehend and follow verbal instruction in English.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- A&P / FCC License is a plus .
- Occasional travel may occur.
Workplace environment:
- Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
- Exposure to various weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
