Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial data, including asset, liability, and capital account entries to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Document financial transactions by entering and verifying account information in the accounting system.
Summarize the company's financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports as needed.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting footnotes to provide a clear financial overview.
Ensure financial transactions are substantiated by auditing and verifying supporting documents.
Maintain strong accounting controls by developing, recommending, and implementing policies and procedures.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by gathering and analyzing account data, identifying issues, and making necessary corrections.
Collaborate effectively with remote employees and external accountants to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required).
Minimum of 2 years of related accounting experience.
Proficiency in Peachtree accounting software (Required).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data accurately.
Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines effectively.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information clearly.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not required.
